Kala Sangam Artist Takeover Residency Award, July 2017
July 14, 2017Following a very competitive open call out, KDC Artistic Director Kamala Devam has been chosen as one of four UK artists to be awarded a residency at Kala Sangam in Bradford in early September this year. Kamala will be researching and developing ideas to choreograph her first Bharata Natyam solo on herself, set to be a new addition to KDC’s first evening Ankusha and Other Mysteries, booking now for a UK Tour in Spring 2018. Kamala and the other residency artists will share their works-in-progress at Kala Sangam on 16 Sept, 2017.
